Lytx Driver of the Year Awards 2020

LEAWOOD, Kan., Feb. 26, 2020 — Murphy-Hoffman Company’s (MHC) Adam Werner received Lytx, Inc.’s Driver of the Year award for his outstanding record behind the wheel of his Kenworth T270 mobile service truck. This is the fourth consecutive year that an MHC driver has won the award.

Lytx presented awards to honorees, including Werner, at the annual Lytx User Group Conference in San Diego. The awards acknowledge the best professional drivers and coaches using the Lytx DriveCam program who are committed to improving safety and efficiency behind the wheel and within their organization’s fleet.

Werner maintains a clean driving record while working as a mobile service journeyman at MHC Kenworth – St. Joseph. He holds Kenworth’s highest service honor as a Kenworth Certified Master Technician and has driven approximately 30,000 miles in 12 months. Werner has had zero “coachable” events or moving violations at MHC in the past five years.

“It is a great honor for Adam to receive the Driver of the Year award from Lytx,” MHC Director of Safety and Risk Management Adrian O’Hara said. “Adam is deserving of this recognition and takes his job, as well as the award very seriously. He truly embodies MHC’s commitment to a world-class safety culture every time he gets behind the wheel while delivering great services to customers.”

MHC first partnered with Lytx, a global leader in video telematics, in 2014, and has integrated DriveCam into every company vehicle to proactively take a stance on safer driving. This year, MHC congratulated a record 146 drivers with awards for receiving zero “coachable” events through the Lytx DriveCam program.

“These drivers and coaches exemplify the safest driving standards and behaviors found in the transportation industry today,” Lytx Vice President of Safety Services Del Lisk, Lytx said. “We congratulate the exceptional performance of all nominated drivers and coaches, and applaud them on their dedication to driver safety. Lytx remains steadfast to enhancing our Driver Safety Program, and will continue to honor those who have risen to the top of their profession.”
