How to Make a Hands-free Flashlight

Categories:
HandsFreeFlashlight Everyone has needed a third hand at some point in their day, especially in the trucking industry. Technicians work in situations when they have needed another hand to hold a flashlight to improve visibility on the job.  If there isn’t anyone around the shop to lend a hand, try this quick and inexpensive way to get light where you need it:

1. Find a flashlight, a pair of pliers and a rubber band
2. Simply put the flashlight between the metal tips of the pliers to create a tripod effect
3. Use the rubber band to squeeze the handles of the pliers together
4. Aim the light where you need it and voila
